As a Project Assistant, you will be pioneering the fight to end hygiene poverty in Southend-on-Sea 🌊

This is a flexible role, perfect for someone who wants to practice leadership, strategy and creative skills 🎨

Here’s how it works 📝
1. We’re a grass roots charity based in Southend, and are on a mission to end hygiene poverty 🪥
2. We are always looking for innovative ways to get more attention to our small charity – but as a team on one permanent volunteer, we sometimes miss the mark 🎯
3. The Project Assistant (this could be you!) would work closely with the Project Co-Ordinator to manage the project and put their stamp on how it’s run 💡
4. Are you looking for a chance to own a project from end to end? Or maybe you have a subject you studied in school and haven’t had a chance to try since? This is an incredibly adaptable role, and we are looking for dedication no matter what your interest is ⭐️

You’ll be making a huge difference. Hygiene poverty is a painful yet frequently forgotten symptom of poverty. The scale of the issue in Southend is massive, with more people than ever needing our support. Every single toothbrush; bottle of aftershave or sanitary pad goes directly to people who need them, but this is not an easy thing to do alone. The Hygiene Bank Southend is currently a team of one, so if you joined you would not only be gaining experience, but increasing the support we can offer to our community 💛
