Main purpose of the role:
The purpose of the Debt Coach is to visit clients in their homes, along with a support worker/befriender, and to provide debt help in conjunction with the CAP head office staff in Bradford. This must be done in such a way that it positively reflects the Christian faith and the core values of CAP. Training by CAP head office is provided.
Skills
· Experience of working with those who are vulnerable and marginalised.
· Experience of encouraging volunteers.
· Experience of communicating effectively in one-to-one settings.
· Experience of working alone and as part of a team.
· Experience of getting alongside new Christians to encourage them.
· Administration experience.
