Purpose of the Role

To support HARP in maintaining high-quality training for all volunteers by helping organise, monitor, and improve our volunteer training systems. This role is ideal for someone organised, people-focused, and passionate about helping volunteers feel confident and supported.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain Volunteer Training Records

Keep training records up to date on our internal systems.

Ensure training completion is logged accurately for all volunteers.

Coordinate New Volunteer Training

Send out start-up training packs to all new volunteers as they join.

Ensure each new volunteer receives the correct introductory training for their role.

Monitor Ongoing Training Needs

Check that existing volunteers have the correct and current training for the roles they complete.

Flag any gaps or training refreshers needed.

Source Free Training Opportunities (Optional but Helpful)

Look out for relevant free courses, online sessions, or community resources that could benefit volunteers.

Share these opportunities with the Volunteer Coordinator.

Support Delivery of Training Sessions (Optional / If Happy)

Be trained to help deliver basic volunteer training sessions.

Assist with group sessions or 1-to-1 inductions when needed.
