Would you like to help out at our Activity Group for people living with dementia? This is an opportunity, every Thursday, to share fun, games, tea and biscuits, encouraging everyone to join in.

Activity Group is a weekly group for those living with dementia.
We have various activities on offer from table tennis, table football and pool, to colouring, games, bingo and puzzles.
The group is quite social and our volunteers support the attendees to take part in their chosen activities and conversation.
Help is needed getting the activities out and encouraging someone to pick what they would like to do. Help is also need for packing the items away.
We do make our own refreshments at the venue (tea, coffee, biscuits) help preparing that and taking them to participants is always welcome, as is help washing or drying the cups.
There is no personal care or heavy lifting requirements.

No formal qualifications needed. Dementia knowledge/understanding would be an advantage, but Dementia Friends session can be provided.
