Main purpose of the role

We are looking for someone who loves books! Our Thames Drive shop has a book department which needs regular rotating and re filling. We also do charity scanning with any books we can’t sell and books that have had their chance on the shop floor and haven’t sold.

Volunteers Responsibilities

To sort books, decide which will be sold and which will be scanned. Rotating books that have been on sale for two weeks or more, pricing and re filling the books while keeping them within subjects, fiction is displayed alphabetically by author, scanning books on the computer for charity scanning and boxing up any that sell ready for collection.

 

Relevant experience
No experience necessary, but basic computer skills an advantage.

Commitment

This role is flexible around the volunteer but a regular commitment is expected Anytime between Monday - Sunday 9:30am-4am
