Purpose of the Role

The Catering Team is working towards streamlining and organising all paperwork to help us work more efficiently and reduce physical storage. This volunteer role will play a key part in supporting us to digitise documents and keep our records tidy, accurate, and easy to access.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

πŸ“„ Scan paperwork using office equipment and ensure high-quality digital copies are produced.

πŸ—‚οΈ File documents into the correct online folders following the agreed structure.

πŸ”Ž Check for duplicates or missing information and flag any issues to the Catering Team Lead.

πŸ“ Support with general admin tasks linked to the paperwork transition project.

♻️ Help streamline current paper systems by moving relevant information into digital formats.

Support & Training Provided

Induction and introduction to our digital filing system.

Ongoing support from the Catering Team Lead and Volunteer Coordinator.

Training where required for equipment or systems.

SKILLS

Skills & Qualities Needed

Good attention to detail.

Comfortable using computers, scanners, and digital filing systems (training provided).

Able to work independently and follow instructions.

Reliable, organised, and happy completing repetitive tasks.
