8-week group programme designed to support individuals recovering from the impacts of domestic abuse. Each weekly session lasts 2 hours and focuses on rebuilding confidence, understanding abuse dynamics, developing coping strategies, and fostering peer support in a safe, trauma-informed environment.
Role Purpose
The Co-Facilitator will support our Lead Facilitator to support participants’ emotional well-being, engagement, and progress throughout the 8-week journey.
Key Tasks:
• Co-facilitate weekly 2-hour sessions, helping to deliver structured content and activities
• Assist in setting up the room/space and preparing materials before each session
• Help create a welcoming, safe, and non-judgmental environment for all participants
• Encourage respectful group interaction and support peer engagement
• Be present and emotionally available to participants during sessions
• Attend pre-session briefings and post-session debriefs with the team
• Maintain appropriate boundaries and always uphold confidentiality
• Collecting feedback from participants at the end of group programme.
• Raise any concerns or safeguarding issues promptly to the programme coordinator or safeguarding lead
