You will represent and promote Home-Start Essex at a range of community events held in Southend throughout the year. You could also promote Home-Start Essex in your local area, for example, by dropping leaflets into local businesses or arranging for posters to be displayed in your local school/ shops. This is a flexible volunteering role which can be combined with our other volunteering roles.

Community Ambassadors are expected to:
• Undertake initial training to help prepare you for the role
• Attend pre-arranged events on behalf of Home-Start Essex, e.g., summer fetes, Christmas fairs, sporting challenges as a competitor or moral support cheerleader!
• Help set up, run and clear away at events
