We are looking for a community hub ambassador/volunteer to provide a warm, welcoming presence at the Community Hub. Meet new people and ensure our visitors feel comfortable. Training provided.

Purpose of the Role:
To provide a warm, welcoming presence at the Community Hub, ensuring visitors feel comfortable and are directed to the right services. Volunteers will play a key role in creating an inclusive and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Greet visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide basic information about hub services and activities.
• Assist with maintaining a tidy and welcoming space.
• Support community engagement by encouraging participation in hub activities.
• Signpost visitors to Employment Plus services and other partner organisations.
• Report any concerns or feedback to the Hub Coordinator.
Training & Support:
• Full Salvation Army induction and safeguarding training provided.
• Health and safety accredited training provided.
• Ongoing support from the Corps Officer (Church Leader) and Employment Plus personnel.
• Opportunity to develop skills in customer service and community engagement.
