We run regular volunteering opportunities for people interested in improving Essex’s green spaces. It is very varied at the moment we are both building a sensory garden, managing invasive species, working in local ponds, planning our winter tree planting events. The work is incredibly varied and changes throughout the season. Tools, tuition, and tea provided! Check out our website for more details.

 

No prior knowledge of conservation is required. A willingness to learn and be part of a team advantageous.

Commitment

The day runs from 10:30 to 15:30 with ample breaks. If you can only manage a few hours that is fine too. We often have volunteers who come twice weekly or once monthly, it’s up to you. We run various projects, you are welcome to come as and when suits you, it may be a particular project which interests you and you come for a one off. We are flexible and we value your contribution, whatever you can offer
