MND is life shortening and there is currently no cure.  Although the disease will progress, symptoms can be managed to help achieve the best quality of life.  There is a 1 in 300 risk of getting MND across a lifetime. It can affect adults of any age, but is likely to affect people over 50.

Our local South Essex MND Association volunteer led branch are looking for fundraisers to help them improve the lives of people with and affected with MND locally.

Whether you would like to carry out your own fundraising activity to raise funds specifically for the branch, to go to local people with or affected by MND or whether you would like to support the branch with organising larger scale events or activities, we would love to hear from you.

Ongoing support will be offered.
