Do you love a festival vibe? Are you proud of your local community? Would you be excited to take part in celebrating music, dance and spoken word in your town? If the answer is yes, we would love you to join us in, making Leigh Folk Festival 2026 happen.
The festival is completely run by volunteers, without whom it could not happen. Next year we need volunteers from the 25th to the 28th of June 2026 in the following roles.
– Festival site build and break
– Stewarding
– Welcome team
– Recycling champion
– Festival photographer
– Artist & Stage support

Some of our roles require specific skills
Photographer – proven ability to capture a festival atmosphere with respect and discretion
Welcome team – be able to use a card machine and collect donations from festival goers with integrity
Festival build and break – physical fitness and ability to follow instructions
Artist & Stage support – strong communication skills, confidentiality and discretion, ability to follow instructions
