We are looking for additional volunteers to help welcome visitors, support events, and assist with the day-to-day running of The Jazz Centre UK. Rota staff book shifts at their leisure using our Three Rings Calendar system. We particularly need support on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays as these are our quieter days; although we occasionally host mid-week music events that could use extra hands.

Duties include greeting visitors, answering questions, selling tickets and merchandise from our till system, assisting with exhibits, and creating a friendly community atmosphere. Volunteering as Front of House staff at The Jazz Centre UK often feels more like hanging out with our lovely community, and if you are looking for simply a nice place to go each week with some lovely people and keep us staffed, this is ideal. Plus, you get free entry to our live music events (if we are not at capacity). Simply turning up and greeting visitors is vital to our daily operations.

Equally, if you are looking for something with more direction, we are seeking Volunteer Day Leaders for any of these days to ensure each shift is staffed by at least two people.
