Volunteer Administrator -Therapeutic Services

Purpose of the Role:

The Therapeutic Services Team is the first point of contact for anyone wishing to engage with talking therapies with Trust Links. We recruit, train, and support qualifying students and qualified volunteer counsellors to facilitate client sessions. As our Trust Links Counselling (TLC) service grows, so does the admin of the project, and we now need new volunteers to join our friendly team for one shift per week to assist with the project.

This is a varied and fun role in a small team.

Requirements:

Complete the volunteer application and recruitment process 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Make phone calls , send and file emails
  • Coordinate TLC Informal Interviews, with Team Lead
  • Sending out packs
  • Updating Excel trackers
  • Assist with data entry and administration tasks
  • Request and log feedback from client and students
  • Maintain accurate records and communication logs.
  • Notify staff if unable to attend volunteering sessions.
  • Adhere to Health & Safety and Safeguarding policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and GDPR compliance.

Skills and Qualities Needed:

Great communication skills (in person and by phone)

Administration experience

Experience in using IT software, including Microsoft Office and Excel.

Self-motivated and willing to learn.

Ability to manage tasks independently after training.

Punctuality, patience, honesty, enthusiasm, and teamwork.
