About this opportunity from Friends and Places Together
Friends and Places Together offer opportunities for young people 14 to 25 years old to meet up and enjoy social activities in a safe and welcoming environment.
The young people we work with have a variety of different needs, such as learning disabilities and mental ill health.
We are looking for a volunteer coordinator, who would enjoy liaising with volunteers and volunteer services to help recruit new people to the project.
To look at supporting volunteers in many roles, from helping with a fundraising event, to being part of a Karaoke session on a Friday night.
We need a variety of volunteers to help deliver this services to our community. We need a volunteer co-ordinator that can help us continue offering this vital service to residents in Southend.

Commitment
We normally offer fundraising events once a month and we have about 4 volunteers applying to get involved with us. We would need the person to work around their flexibility and arrange times to meet volunteers and bring them together for support. Friends and Places Together will work with the person to fit this around their commitment. However we do have some set events once a month
