A day centre within the Rochford District are looking for a patient and caring volunteer cook to prepare and cook healthy, wholesome two course meals for the elderly and vulnerable in our community. Their friendly and enthusiastic team include kitchen assistants, servers and helpers who all work together to ensure food is ready to serve at 12 noon. If you have experience of working in a kitchen, perhaps a catering qualification, Health & Safety certificates, patience and understanding and are able to work as part of a team then this could be the role for you.

Required 8am - 12 noon - flexible Cover is required for all mornings although two would be acceptable and more practical. (If a lot of interest is received, it may be possible to agree to one). There are helpers to serve the food at 12 noon
