About this opportunity from Southend Museums
Are you looking for a rewarding way to give something back to your community while enjoying the outdoors?
Southend Museums is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic volunteer to help care for our Health and Wellbeing Garden, located alongside Southend Central Museum.
Once a neglected and overgrown space, the garden has been transformed by a dedicated team of volunteers into a peaceful, welcoming environment for visitors and community groups. We are now looking for someone to play an important role in helping the garden continue to flourish.

Would like to support a meaningful community project.
Prefers a role that can be carried out independently.

What you’ll gain
The opportunity to make a visible difference to a valued community space.
Time spent outdoors in a peaceful and restorative environment.
Experience of volunteering with Southend Museums.
The chance to become more involved with the garden project in the future, should you wish.
