Purpose of the Role

We are looking for a proactive individual who has time and dedication to lead our Volunteer Management team. The Jazz Centre UK is growing. Our organisation is 100% volunteer run and we need hands-on support to ensure our increasing number of volunteers are correctly supported.

The role offers the opportunity to contribute ideas and thoughtful improvements, helping to strengthen and develop the organisation while building on what already works well.

Key Responsibilities
• Organise and chair Volunteer Management Team meetings
• Help to organise volunteer development and activities
• Help with our volunteer strategy
• Manage volunteer records and help us develop our Three Rings software
• Support volunteer onboarding process
• Ensure compliance with organisational policies (e.g. contact details, availability, references)
• Handle routine volunteer queries and escalate issues where appropriate
• A key member of the organisation between the volunteers and Trustees
