We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help deliver engaging and inclusive tennis sessions for our residents. Whether you’re an experienced player or simply passionate about the sport, this is a fantastic opportunity to share your skills, encourage physical wellbeing, and inspire others to get active and have fun.
🔑 Main Responsibilities
Plan and deliver enjoyable tennis sessions for a range of abilities
Set up and pack away equipment before and after sessions
Encourage participation, teamwork, and confidence-building
Adapt activities to suit different ages and fitness levels
Promote a safe and supportive playing environment
Work collaboratively with staff and other volunteers

Commitment
Ideally weekly but flexible with the volunteer Friendly, patient, and approachable
Experience leading or assisting with sports/coaching sessions (preferred but not essential)
Good communication and motivational skills
Coaching qualification (LTA Level 1 or above desirable, but not required)
Must be 18+
Enhanced DBS check (we can support this process)
Willingness to follow safeguarding, health and safety, and equality policies
Commitment to creating an inclusive, respectful, and engaging session for all
