Warehouse Volunteer
Can you spare some time on a Thursday morning to help out at our foodbank warehouse in Southchurch ?
About this opportunity from Southend Foodbank
We are looking for a volunteer to help at our Warehouse in Southchurch on a Thursday morning. The main duties include helping to sort food by date and type or making up food parcels, following a check-list. This role involves lifting some quite heavy crates, so you will need to be comfortable with doing this safely.
You will be working together with others, behind the scenes, to help end hunger and to make a real difference by providing vital help and support to those in crisis in our local community.
The work in the Warehouse is essential to ensuring that the generous donations of food received are sent out in food parcels. This can’t happen without our wonderful volunteers – could you be one of them?
