Carers Drop In Coffee Group & Health & Wellbeing Host

Welcome carers as they arrive at the group and sign in those attending the Health & Wellbeing Sessions. Engage with carers and provide a listening ear.

About this opportunity from Carers First

This is a Wellbeing group that meets face 2 face once a month and is a dual role of hosting the Coffee Group Drop In and Health & Wellbeing Sessions. 

Duties:

  • To welcome carers as they arrive at the group and sign in those attending the Health & Wellbeing Sessions
  • To offer emotional support and a listening ear
  • To provide feedback on any relevant information from the group to the CSA via email/face to face
  • To assist with refreshments and the setting up of the venue
  • To help with clearing up and cleaning of the venue

·       To attend regular reviews/supervisions as agreed

·       To attend training as required e.g. safeguarding and GDPR

Skills:

·       Active listening

·       Working within boundaries 

What we ask you to do:

·       Engage with Carers at the Group

·       You will be committed to Carers FIRST Equality and Diversity policy

·       Undertake a DBS check

What we will do:

  • We will contribute to travel expenses
  • Offer training
  • Arrange the DBS check
