Lead Fundraiser
Samaritans of Basildon and Thurrock are looking for a new volunteer to join us and take the lead with fundraising. This can be carried out either at our Basildon office or from home.
About this opportunity from Samaritans of Basildon and Thurrock
Samaritans of Basildon and Thurrock are looking for a volunteer to join our team and take the lead in various fundraising activities.
The role
We are looking for a new volunteer to join us and take the lead with fundraising. With the support of the Branch Leadership Team and our volunteers, they will seek new sponsorships and donations for our ongoing operational costs. They will develop and maintain existing income streams, and they will seek grants and bursaries for new capital projects.
The expectation
The successful candidate will work mainly from home, with occasional visits to our branch to meet people. They may occasionally take part in fundraising and outreach events, but this is not a requirement. Their monthly commitment will probably be around 16 hours a month, mostly at times convenient for the candidate. They will be invited to branch leadership meetings that happen every two months (mostly held on Zoom) and any social events we hold.
This volunteering opportunity can be carried out either at the address below or from home.
