Volunteers in this team will become the muscle of our events team: setting up the space and the furniture before the event and taking it all down again; being involved in the laying out and clearing of tables and then be the smiley faces meeting, greeting and seating of people coming along.
This volunteering opportunity is more physical than many of our other roles and also offers real flexibility in times and days to volunteer. as our events, mostly fundraisers, can happen in the afternoon and evening; during the week or at weekends!

Most events take place at The Haven Community Hub, Hamlet Court Road, Westcliff on Sea.
If you take on this role you will be revitalising our existing team & energise our fundraising and events programme. You may think what you do is very little and that there will be no fun – but you will be wrong. They’ll be laughter and all round tireless energy and your help will move things along seamlessly and make our events even more special and effective.

Volunteers for this role need to like people; be physically fit; flexible in approach to the role; able to work on their own or in a team; follow instructions; attend to detail and aware of Health and Safety (lifting carefully etc etc) Some non accredited training will be available.
