Get involved in the day-to-day running of The Jazz Centre, including welcoming visitors, working on reception, operating the shop till, serving refreshments, and supporting a variety of projects and events.

On Wednesdays, we occasionally host live concerts, and volunteers help steward these events while enjoying performances from both locally and nationally acclaimed musicians across jazz and classical music. No knowledge of jazz is required. We welcome music lovers and curious newcomers alike, whatever their level of experience or familiarity with the music. As part of the application process, applicants will be invited to an informal volunteer interview and asked to provide two references.

Commitment

We are looking for Sunday and Wednesday staff. The Jazz Centre is open from 11am till 4.30pm.
