Come and help us keep Labyrinth House looking lovely!
This exciting volunteer role is for someone who loves a bit of light gardening and bits and bobs about the ‘house’. Labyrinth House is a family wellbeing hub in the heart of Westcliff-on-Sea in collaboration with Sunshine Baby Bank. We support families experiencing poverty and have a growing offer for children with special educational needs and disabilities and early years children including our Sunshine Stay-and-Plays.
The role entails weeding the car park and small outdoor area, watering our plants and flowers and carrying out odd-jobs like re-touching paintwork; simple repairs; putting pictures up and things like that.
As a volunteer, you will become a valued member of our community and gain experience in working around families, children and young people. We will obtain a DBS check for you as part of your role as you will be chatting with families and children as you carry out your tasks.
We are in grateful need of your help as we take great pride in our building and outdoor area and would love it to be looking in wonderful condition for the families who access our services.
