At Jumbulance Trust, keeping the wheels moving means far more than maintaining vehicles. It means opening up the world to people with disabilities and complex medical needs, enabling safe, joyful day trips and holidays that would otherwise be out of reach.
We are now looking for new trustees to help keep those wheels turning, strategically, safely and inclusively.
We are particularly keen to recruit trustees who can support the Trust in one or more of the following areas:
Finance – to help oversee financial sustainability and planning
Clinical – to bring a healthcare perspective and support safe practice. This role is ideal for someone with experience in healthcare, nursing and allied health professions
Governance – to strengthen policies, compliance, best practice and trustee effectiveness
Disability & Accessibility – to champion inclusion, accessibility and lived experience
You don’t need previous trustee experience.
We welcome first time trustees as well as those with Board experience.
What’s involved
• Contribute to strategic decision making at Board level
• Help ensure Jumbulance Trust remains safe, sustainable and inclusive
• Attend Board meetings (mostly online) and occasional working groups
• Act as an ambassador for the Trust and our values
• Term of office: 3 years
• Most activity takes place remotely, making this role accessible and flexible. Optional in person involvement may be available but is not essential.
