Photography Volunteer

We have regular activities and events taking place at Trust Links project sites and in the local community.  This photographer volunteer role will assist in capturing photographs for promotional/marketing purposes for use on leaflets, website, social media, and any other promotional resources required. If preferred photographs can be edited making them ready for use.

This role will involve:

–        Attending a Trust Links site for posed photos for promotional purposes.

–        Attending a Trust Links site to capture photos of the projects in action.

–        Supporting our project and community events by capturing photos throughout the event.

–        Ad Hoc photo requests, such as taking manager or trustee profile photos for identification badges.

The Volunteer will be required to:

·       Undergo the volunteer recruitment process including an informal interview, two references a DBS check( depending on role)  and volunteer agreement.

·       Undergo the Volunteer Induction and Mandatory Training Session including online learning at home.

·       Undergo a role specific local induction on the first day of volunteering with their team and staff in charge.

·       To complete any relevant training for the role as identified by the Volunteer Coordinator and Team Manager

·       Update training annually

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:

To attend agreed photographic sessions and capture images for promotional purposes

·       To help promote our life-changing services by capturing our projects in action to share with the general public and to support funding/grant applications.

·       To complete the Trust Links media consent forms for each individual photographed.

·       Taking part in appropriate training and development activities

·       Participate in team meetings as and when.

·       Notify staff if you are unable to attend your agreed session

·       Ensure Health and Safety regulations are adhered to in line with Trust Links Health and Safety policy

·       Ensure Safeguarding requirements are met in line with Trust Links Safeguarding policy and escalate concerns about the wellbeing of service users to appropriate staff members

·       Maintain confidentiality

Volunteers will need

·     Photographic experience (professional or enthusiasts welcome)

·     A willingness to get involved and engage with our members/beneficiaries without prejudice

·     Your own photographic equipment (your own camera is essential, other accessories optional)

·     As per the volunteer agreement any photographs edited off site with staff/volunteers/members in them must not be copied or shared with any third party.

·     Liaise with coms staff about SD card use and the process around how photos will be delivered at end of session.
