Come and join us for one off and flexible volunteering on Canvey Island.

From helping at a tree planting event to litter picking on the beach to many many other events, come and take part in your local community by lending a helping hand.

No ongoing commitment is needed for this role.

Join our mailing list and we will send you updates to events coming up. You can join as the whole family but children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

Come and help, meet new people, feel great!

The Volunteer will be required to:

·       Listen to staff about safety rules or guidelines

·       Agree to volunteer as part of the team and to be respectful and polite to all who attend the session

.      Complete a basic form the day you join

Skills

Duties will vary, depending on the specific project on any given day. Here are some examples of the kind of tasks you can expect to get involved in:

·       Planting bulbs

·       Litter picking

·       Making raised beds from repurposed wood

·       Making bug hotels

·       Tree planting

·       Ground leveling before planting

·       Basic landscaping
