Are you interested in developing your web and social media skills and are keen to volunteer? Then come and join our Pier Museum team and help Southend Pier Museum improve its web and social media presence.
By joining the team at Southend Pier Museum, you will assist the webmaster in maintaining and developing the Pier Museum website. You will also be involved in creating and publishing social media content.
Activities include:
Editing the latest news on the website
Helping to develop the Museum’s new online shop
Creating content for the Museum’s Facebook and Instagram platforms
Publishing social media content
Boosting posts on social media

Previous experience would be advantageous, but is not a specific requirement for the role, full training will be provided.

What we need are enthusiastic people willing to give up some time to assist the Pier Museum in achieving its goals.

Commitment

Hours will vary and are very flexible. It may be just a few hours per week/fortnight or more for certain events. Hours are negotiable and we can work to suit the volunteer
