Recovery cafe volunteer

We're looking for a friendly face to volunteer, bringing our customers and community a smile and great customer service whilst providing support in all areas of our Recovery Cafe.

The Southend Treatment and Recovery Service help people who have issues with drugs and/or alcohol and want to make a positive change. We also support the family and friends of people who are worried about their loved ones substance use, or have been affected by it. As a Café Assistant Volunteer, you will support the Recovery Café.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Time Commitment: We recommend that volunteers commit to volunteering to 1 to 2 days a week for a period of 6 months.

Service Delivery – Client support tasks:

– Providing customer care, managing the meals and foods and promoting new events.
– Assisting with table service, stock rotation and area cleaning.
– Welcoming our community and customers alike.
– Ensuring and supporting a warm safe welcoming environment for customers.
– Event Support
