Volunteer Ad Hoc Driver

If you enjoy driving locally, and would love to help your community, volunteer as a driver to deliver food parcels to those residents who are unable to get to the Distribution Centre.

Overview of the role: Food banks provide three day emergency food parcels for people in crisis, working in partnership with organisations across the community. Ad Hoc Drivers play a fundamental role in the running of the food bank, collecting food donations from the warehouse in Southchurch and delivering to the clients house. We only deliver food to those who are unable to leave the house.

• Collecting food parcels from the warehouse in Southchurch
• Delivering food donations to the client’s house
