We are looking for passionate and committed volunteers to lead or support football sessions for our residents and service users. Whether you’re experienced or just enthusiastic about the sport, this is a fantastic opportunity to promote physical activity, build confidence, and encourage teamwork through the beautiful game.
🔑 Main Responsibilities
Plan and deliver fun, inclusive football training sessions
Set up and take down equipment safely
Encourage participation and teamwork
Adapt sessions to suit a range of abilities and fitness levels
Ensure safety and wellbeing of participants at all times
Work alongside staff and other volunteers to create a positive environment
💼 Skills & Experience
A love of football and enthusiasm for helping others
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Experience coaching or working with groups (preferred but not essential)
Patience, reliability, and a supportive attitude
Coaching qualifications (desirable but not required)
✅ Requirements
Volunteers must be 18+
Enhanced DBS check required (we can help with this)
Commitment to inclusive and respectful coaching practices
Volunteers must adhere to safeguarding and health & safety policies
