What we need

As our Volunteer PR Manager, you’ll take the lead on shaping how The Art Ministry is seen and heard in the community and beyond.
You will:
Media Engagement
– Be the main point of contact for all media enquiries
– Build relationships with journalists, influencers, voluntary sector networks, and local media
– Respond professionally and promptly to opportunities for coverage
Media Strategy & Storytelling
– Develop and deliver a media strategy that raises awareness of our work
– Write and distribute press releases, articles, and statements
– Highlight our projects, events, achievements, and the health wellbeing benefits of creativity
Social Media & Digital Support
– Ensure consistent messaging across our digital platforms
– Monitor media coverage and PR outcomes
– Identify opportunities to grow our visibility and community presence
Brand Representation
– Ensure all communications reflect our values and mission
– Prepare spokespeople for interviews with key messages and briefing notes
Event Promotion
– Help promote our events, exhibitions, and community activities

SKILLS

– Experience in PR, communications, journalism, or media
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Confidence building relationships with media professionals
– An understanding of the charity sector or health/wellbeing campaigns
