Gowlands is our 9 bedroom short stay centre for people with learning disabilities and/or autism and is set in 5 acres of grounds at Sutton Farm, Rochford. We offer a home from home for families who are looking for respite care, from an overnight stay to a 2-week break.

We are looking for volunteers to assist staff with supporting people in the home and possibly on trips or outings. This could include chatting and reading to people, arts and crafts, teaching people how to cook or taking people out to go shopping or on an outing on the mini-bus as well as general support with tidying and maintaining the home.
