ESOL Teacher
We are looking for a qualified, friendly and enthusiastic volunteer ESOL teacher to join our team and support adults in developing their English language skills.
We offer free ESOL classes to adults aged 18 and over who speak English as an additional language, helping learners improve their English, build confidence and develop skills for everyday life and future opportunities.
We are based at the Victoria Shopping Centre, Southend (SS2 5SP).
Skills
· TESOL or CELTA qualification required
· Previous teaching experience preferred but not essential
· Friendly, patient and supportive approach
· Reliable and able to commit to one regular session every week during term time
· Good communication and organisational skills

Commitment
We currently have the following sessions available:
· Wednesday: 12:30–2:30pm
· Thursday: 9:30–11:30am
· Thursday: 12:30–2:30pm
Classes are 2 hours long and take place once a week during term time.
Availability Details
We are looking for someone who can commit to one regular session every week during term time.
We ask for a minimum commitment of one term, ideally for the full academic year. Regular attendance and reliability are important to provide continuity and support for our learners.
