As a small charity supporting young people with additional needs, we hold monthly film nights on our big screen projector which everyone really enjoys. As a volunteer you would help set up the room so it is ready for the film night. You will then greet those coming before the film starts. We would also need help cooking the food provided (usually pizza/hot dogs & popcorn). You would then sit down and watch the film with them and just supervise to make sure behaviour is appropriate. You would then assist packing away once the night is over.

As a volunteer you will gain valuable experience of working with young people and those with additional needs. If you want to get into the area of Health and Social Care this could act as a great springboard into the workforce and would show you have ample experience. Although never guaranteed, we aspire to offer as much paid work to our volunteers after being with us for a committed period of time. We also cover any expenses incurred.

We need young people who are enthusiastic and willing to help others for a great cause. We need those who can bring excitement and creativity to the role or simply have a passion for health and social care work.
As we grow as an organisation we need as many people as possible to help vulnerable people in the community.
