About this opportunity from Friends and Places Together

As a small Charity supporting young people with additional needs, we rely heavy on donations and fundraising to continue providing the support we do. We regularly hold fundraising events and days to raise the money we need to continue as a charity.
We would require you to assist organising our fundraising efforts as well as canvassing for raffle prizes and opportunities for funding from local organisations.

As a volunteer you will gain valuable experience of working with young people and those with additional needs. If you want to get into the area of Health and Social Care this could act as a great springboard into the workforce and would show you have ample experience. Although never guaranteed, we aspire to offer as much paid work to our volunteers after being with us for a committed period of time. We also cover any expenses incurred.

We need young people who are enthusiastic and willing to help others for a great cause. We need those who can bring excitement and creativity to the role or simply have a passion for health and social care work.
As we grow as an organisation we need as many people as possible to help vulnerable people in the community.

No qualifications required.
Experience not necessary.
We offer support, a chance to build up skills and experiences and you will be part of making someone’s life truly inclusive. The people we recruit are open-minded, flexible, caring, and trustworthy.
