Live Event Volunteers

Help us to support every young person to work towards their dreams by giving up your free time and enthusiasm to help with the set up, running and closing down of events.

About this opportunity from The Design Cabin Community CIC

We are looking for volunteers to help us with future events to:

• Help to prepare the venue ahead of an event, including but not limited to, arranging chairs and furniture, setting-up technical equipment, arranging staging, and stocking refreshments.

• Support the transformation of the venue, by helping decorate it.

• Offer guests a warm welcome, and signpost visitors around the venue.

• Help to ensure that guests have a safe and enjoyable visit to our community event by monitoring health and safety considerations, including supervising fire exits, inspecting visitor facilities and answering information queries about the event, or the venue.

• Assist the staff serving refreshments by collecting empty cups or rubbish and place in appropriate bins.

• Help to pack away after an event, including but not limited to, stacking and tidying away equipment, moving furniture, and clearing and cleaning the event area.

• Make invited guests fill warmly welcomed, serve them with appropriate refreshments, and show them around the event.
