Overview:
1st Prittlewell (St Mary’s) Scout Group is looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to join its Board of Trustees as a Treasurer, helping oversee the group’s finances and support its growth and activities.
About the role:
• Join the charity’s Trustee Board
• Help manage and oversee the group’s finances
• Play a key role supporting young people through Scouting activities
Main responsibilities:
• Oversee financial affairs and bookkeeping
• Prepare annual budgets and financial reports
• Monitor bank accounts and reconcile statements
• Manage payments and signatories
• Support fundraising activities

An enhanced DBS will be required.
Need to be trustworthy, competent and compliant managing charity funds.
