Trainee Team Leaders
Trainee Team Leaders help run one of our various workshops, serving refreshments, showing empathy and providing a listening ear. Once trained, there may be an opportunity to mentor in the community.
About this opportunity from Southend City Baptist Church (57 West)
The Trainee Team leader will facilitate one of our workshops. Duties will include serving drinks and light snacks while offering a listening ear and an empathetic heart. You may deliver a workshop if appropriate or assist someone else to deliver it. We can do workshops in Art, Music, Cooking or Wellbeing and welcome any ideas you may have.
After you are fully trained there may be an opportunity to mentor volunteers from the Community.
No experience is necessary but you must be over 18 and be willing to undergo a DBS (at our expense) and offer reference. We require DBS but are happy for Volunteers to start without one as they will be monitored until DBS is received.
Training will be provided
