We are looking for volunteers to facilitate our Rough Sleeper drop in that is held on a Friday evening. Your duties would be to offer a warm welcome to our homeless offering them a warm drink and snack and a warm place to sit for a while. Currently this would just be Friday evenings with a view to opening up for more evenings as required. You would not be expected to volunteer every Friday. We have a Rota and you could volunteer every other week or once a month. You would need to be over 18 have a caring and compassionate and non judgmental approach. You would be expected to undergo a DBS check (at our expense) and will take part in our safeguarding training.

 

Qualifications are not necessary although experience would be a great advantage. Training will be given

Commitment

We are open every Friday evening but it would be up to you how much time you wanted to commit. We operate on a rota/timetable.
