About this opportunity from Carers First

Duties:

  • To take part in initial induction.
  • Meet staff to plan the walking groups.
  • To work with Carers First staff to run a walking group.
  • To provide a listening ear and emotional support to carers during walking groups.
  • To attend regular reviews and supervision as required.
  • To feedback any relevant information from the group to the CSA via email/face to face

Training:

·     Safeguarding (e-learning), typically takes 30 to 40 minutes

·         GDPR (e-learning), typically takes 20 to 30 minutes

·     Other training is available via our regular virtual sessions and e-learning

What you need to do:

·       To read and agree to our volunteer policies

·       To agree to a DBS check that will be paid for by Carers First

·       To take part in relevant training

What we will do:

  • We will contribute to travel expenses
  • Offer training
  • Arrange the DBS check
